Noise from the corridors made for a restless night, and there were also some issues with breakfast service, including cold beans and a lack of toast which left much to be desired. the hotel doesn’t quite match its online presentation.

I had a solo trip and stayed for 4 nights. The location was super close to the Winter Gardens, just a short walk. Bed was comfy and shower was decent, despite being a bit small. Breakfast was okay, but I wouldn’t rely on it every day. The room could use some sprucing up, though.

Checked in at 3 PM, yet my room still wasn’t ready until 3:15. Upon entry, I found the bathroom in questionable shape. the shower had low water pressure and stains on the tiles. the noise from the pub below permeated the walls, making for a less than restful night. The layout of the facility is somewhat dated, and while I found the overall ambiance a bit lacking, it didn’t entirely ruin the experience.

Had a lovely stay with my partner! The new owners are super friendly and made us feel right at home. The room was way better than expected, and breakfast blew my mind—so much food! They let us stash our bags before check-in too, which was fab. Just wish the heating was a bit stronger.
